Rosanell Eaton, an African American voting rights activist who successfully helped challenge voting restrictions supported by North Carolina Republicans, has died. She was 97.
Eaton’s daughter, Armenta Eaton, said her mother died Saturday at home in Louisburg, North Carolina.
